Counselor Corner

Dear Students and Families,

Great job, Wolverines — we are officially DONE with CAASPP testing! 🎉 Thank you to all students for your hard work, focus, and perseverance during testing season.

With only 9 days left of school, it is important that students continue finishing strong academically, behaviorally, and emotionally.

📚 Academics – Finish Strong:
Even though testing is complete, grades still matter! Students should continue checking grades, completing assignments, and staying focused in class through the last day of school.

Students should work toward maintaining a 2.0 GPA or higher to stay eligible for activities and opportunities. Every assignment and attendance day counts during these final weeks.

Finish Strong Tips:
• Turn in all missing assignments
• Communicate with teachers if support is needed
• Stay organized and focused
• Finish the year with strong effort and positive habits

🌟 PBIS: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe
Students have worked hard all year earning PBIS points — now it’s time to enjoy those rewards!

🎉 Visit the PBIS Store to use your points on:
• Chips & drinks
• Snacks & treats
• Gift cards (Canes & In-N-Out)
• PBIS T-shirts

⚠️ Students must have their school ID to make purchases using PBIS points.

Continue showing strong Wolverine expectations through the end of the school year!

💜 Mental Health Awareness Month:
May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which reminds us how important it is to take care of our emotional well-being.

Mental health is just as important as physical health. Encourage students to:
• Get enough sleep
• Stay active
• Talk to trusted adults when stressed
• Take breaks and practice self-care
• Support friends with kindness and positivity

Remember: Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Our counseling team is always here to support students and families.

🏫 Community & School Connection – Strong Finish:
Students who stay engaged through the final weeks of school are more likely to finish successfully and begin next year feeling confident and prepared.

With only 9 days left, let’s continue making positive choices, supporting one another, and finishing the school year the Wolverine way!

With care,

To help keep our students safe, please follow our designated drop-off and pick-up procedures:

South Side (Bon View Entrance)

  • Enter from Bon View (next to Liberty Elementary).

  • Pull forward toward Campus before stopping.

North Side (Driveway Past the Gym)

  • Enter the driveway past the main office and the gym.

  • Continue down the second driveway and follow the loop to exit.

Front of the School (Campus Street)

  • You may use the pull-in section along Campus Street for drop-off or pick-up.

  • This is not part of the driveway.

🚫 Not Allowed

  • No drop-off or pick-up in the driveway directly in front of the office.

  • No parking in school parking spaces for drop-off or pick-up.

Phones need to be turned off and in backpacks prior to entering the gates, along with earbuds, headphones, any electronics.

PBIS Spirit Points and Student Involvement

Grade levels earn spirit points throughout the school year and the grade with the most points at the end of the year earns an extra end of the year activity.
