- Comes prepared and ready to learn each day.
- Brings their school ID, charged laptop and charger, and all necessary materials.
Important Reminders:
Student ID badges must be worn daily. If a student does not have their ID they can go to the office to have one printed for them for the day. On the 3rd instance they will receive a lunch detention for not being responsible. It is the student's responsibility to wear it daily. ID Badges are used during lunch time to speed up the process for students getting their lunch in the lines. If students do not have their ID's on them they will be asked to go to the back of the line as to not hold up the lunch lines.
Hats and Hoods are not permitted to be worn on campus
No Gum on campus
Phones, ear buds, headphones, and all electronic devices must be turned off and stored in backpacks before entering campus
-
There is no student drop-off in front of the school

💬 Counselor’s Corner: February 23rd–27th
Dear Families,
We are continuing strong in Trimester 3 and building positive habits that support academic success, strong behavior, and student well-being. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting our Wolverines.
📚 Academics: Encourage your student to stay organized, keep up with assignments, and check grades regularly. Starting strong early in the trimester helps reduce stress later. Students can continue using Paper, our free online tutoring program, for homework help, test preparation, and extra academic support anytime.
🌟 PBIS: Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe Our Wolverine expectations continue to guide our school community. Students earn PBIS points through positive behavior, effort, and participation. Points may be redeemed in the Wellness Room/Zen Den before school. Let’s continue making positive choices every day.
💜 Social-Emotional Support: Healthy routines support emotional wellness and academic success. Encourage your child to get enough sleep, stay active, and talk openly about how they are feeling. Our counseling team is always here to support students, families, and staff.
🏫 Community & School Connection – Career Awareness: In our Ontario community and surrounding Inland Empire region, workforce trends show strong growth in several key career fields. Helping students build strong habits now prepares them for future opportunities.
Local Career Field Data:
- Logistics & Transportation: ~22–25% of local jobs are connected to logistics, warehousing, and transportation.
- Healthcare: About 13–15% of jobs are in healthcare and medical services.
- Education & Public Service: Approximately 10–12% of the workforce works in education, government, and community services.
- Skilled Trades & Technical Careers: Roughly 12–14% of jobs involve construction, electrical, mechanical, and technical fields.
- Business, Retail & Customer Service: About 20% of local jobs are in business operations, retail, and service industries.
School Success Indicators:
- Students with 95%+ attendance are 2–3x more likely to stay on track for graduation.
- Students maintaining a 2.0 GPA or higher are more likely to participate in sports, activities, and career pathway programs.
- Positive behavior and citizenship are strongly linked to higher academic success and school engagement.
Our goal is helping Wolverines connect today’s habits to tomorrow’s careers.
Let’s continue Trimester 3 with strong effort, healthy choices, and Wolverine pride!
With care, Miss Torres & Ms. Morales Garcia School Counselors

Dear Woodcrest Families,
To help keep our students safe, please follow our designated drop-off and pick-up procedures:
South Side (Bon View Entrance)
North Side (Driveway Past the Gym)
Front of the School (Campus Street)
🚫 Not Allowed
No drop-off or pick-up in the driveway directly in front of the office.
No parking in school parking spaces for drop-off or pick-up.
-
No stopping or parking in the private community across from the school.
Why This Matters Students use the crosswalks in our parking lots, and unauthorized driving through these areas creates safety hazards.
