Good Evening Wolverine Families,

Woodcrest will be having their back to school night on Friday, 8/15 from 4:30 - 7:00. The night will be broken down into three parts:

• 4:30 - 5:15 - Gates will open to families. There will be Kona Ice, snacks, and drinks available for purchase (cash only for snacks and drinks).
  • Also during this time, we will have our ELAC Parent Meeting for our English Learners from 4:40 - 5:10.
• 5:15 - 6:30 - Classroom teachers will present on their syllabus and expectations for the year. Please use Aeries to follow along with your student's schedule to make sure that you are hearing the correct information for each period.
• 6:30 - 7:00 - Administration will hold a parent orientation to answer relevant questions related to Woodcrest school wide expectations.

We also encourage families to be involved in their child's education on a daily basis either at home or through campus events. Two resources you may use to find ways to support your child at home can be found on our school website under the parent section. One resource is the school-parent compact that gives specific ways to be involved for our students here at Woodcrest. Another resource is our parent/family engagement policy that provides an overview of different areas to be involved.
