Drop Off and Pick Up Options

Dear Woodcrest Families,

To help keep our students safe, please follow our designated drop-off and pick-up procedures:

South Side (Bon View Entrance)

  • Enter from Bon View (next to Liberty Elementary).

  • Pull forward toward Campus before stopping.

North Side (Driveway Past the Gym)

  • Enter the driveway past the main office and the gym.

  • Continue down the second driveway and follow the loop to exit.

Front of the School (Campus Street)

  • You may use the pull-in section along Campus Street for drop-off or pick-up.

  • This is not part of the driveway.

🚫 Not Allowed

  • No drop-off or pick-up in the driveway directly in front of the office.

  • No parking in school parking spaces for drop-off or pick-up.

Counselor Corner

💬 Counselor’s Corner: Wrapping Up September & Starting October

Dear Families,

We’re closing out September and kicking off October with excitement and opportunities for growth!

🎉 Spirit Week: This week is our first Spirit Week—a chance for students to show their school pride and build community. Encourage your child to participate and have fun while representing Woodcrest!

📅 Open Forum Conferences:

  • Mandatory for students with a 2.0 GPA and below

  • Optional for students with a 2.1 GPA and above

Conferences will be held Thursday and Friday and are a great opportunity to review academic progress, set goals, and connect with teachers.

📚 Academics:
As we begin the second part of Trimester 1, it’s a good time for students to review their grades, turn in missing work, and establish consistent study habits. Staying on top of assignments now prevents stress later!

🌟 PBIS:
We continue to emphasize being Respectful, Responsible, and Safe. Spirit Week is a perfect time to show school pride while still modeling positive behavior in the classroom and around campus.

💙 Social-Emotional:
Balancing academics, activities, and friendships can feel overwhelming. Encourage your child to practice stress-management strategies—like taking breaks, staying active, or talking with someone they trust. Remember, our counseling team is here to help.

We are here to support all students, parents, and teachers. Please stop by and check in with us anytime—or complete the Request for Support Form using the QR code below.

Let’s finish September strong and step into October with spirit and success!

With care,

Miss Torres & Ms. Morales Garcia
